I finally finished a simple mary jane slipper for Aliyah – yes, you read correctly, A slipper hehe. It’s super easy and quick but of course, like anything that comes in pairs, that second one is harder to cast on

I’m working on slippers, bags, hats, scarves, baby things and toys right now – phew! I’ll be tracking my projects, stash, etc over at ravelry.com where I am “makfish”. It’s a really great site.

Right now I’m working on a lacy beanie in brown worsted wool, a light weight cotton beanie (using my favorite, london beanie pattern altered here) and a felted accessory bag using lamb’s pride worsted in a denim color. I’m also planning to attend a crop at the end of the month and get back into scrapbooking. I need to get a book done for Aliyah that chronicles 12-36mo. I’m horribly behind.

After finishing 2 shawls and 5 hats I wasn’t sure I’d want to be knitting right after Christmas but the day after I started a lace pattern beanie with some brown wool ease worsted that I wasn’t sure what to do with – it’s turning out to be bigger than I expected though so I’m not sure what I’ll end up doing with it. I’ll see if my melon-head brother wants it but it might be too girlie for his tastes.
